Apparently the parents had a quarrel because mom had some church organisation thing in Cambodia that needed funding and dad NEVER seldom does charity so mom got quite pissed that he's so self-centered and stingy, and gave him an earful. So he went to the room to sulk and perhaps did a self reflection. Then came out with a thousand dollars cheque hahaha which is a lot for someone who doesn't do charity at all! Whoo!!
Yesterday was a cause for celebration too. He managed to get a major competitor in Japan to collaborate and work with Piab, something that wasn't so smooth sailing but finally achieved after a year of hard work. Yeyyy!!! Can tell he was really happy over the phone, something very unusual for such a Mr-Grumpy-book-worthy-for-his-birthday-last-year man.
