On track..

Wow it's been awhile! Just wanted to jot some stuff down as there has been quite a few significant milestones happening this month, August 2012.

1. I've been with my first real job after graduation for a year :) I won't exactly associate it as the best job for most people, but I've been here for a year and still loving it. It's not paying me as much as what my peers are getting from other banks, but my work times are so flexible, I get to fulfill a lot of other stuff as well :)

Stuff like..

2. Collecting the first rent from my very own tenant! Completion of purchase was 2 months ago, the agent took a month to lease my space out at a rate above what the market was asking. The same agent also got me this unit at the lowest caveat price lodged since Jan 2012 till now. Rental yield at 5.25% :)
I'm really please that everything is going as planned. I've always told myself that I wanted to "own" my first property before the age of 25. I did it. At 23. Happyyyyyyyyy! Now, for another 2 more before hitting the big THREE.

Other stuff like..

3. My first batch of goods will be arriving end of next month. I had enough of all talk and no action with my friend for over a year. So I took the plunge and ordered about a thousand dollars worth of goods (there goes my handbag fund) and thought, if nobody's gonna take the first step, I shall and I'll do it all by myself. So yeah, friend wants to chip in some capital and work together now. Yey, can't wait to start on this baby project of mine. STOKED!
